Where are JLT Business Insurance Services based?

We’re based in Birmingham.

How long will it take to get a quotation?

We can usually give you a quote over the phone in about 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can fill out a contact form with your details and we’ll call you back at a time to suit you with a quote.

What will happen once I have completed the online quotation form?

Once you’ve completed our online quotation form, your details will be sent through to one of our insurance account handlers who will call you with a quote. It may be necessary to ask you some additional questions at this stage to make sure you have the right level of cover – it could also help us to give you a more competitive quote.

How soon can you give me cover?

We can provide immediate cover, while you're on the phone.

What will you need to know?

Try to have your existing insurance schedule and renewal notice available as this will give us the majority of the information that we will need. However, if you’re a new business, our business insurance team will be able to guide you through the quotation.

Will my premises be visited?

We don’t need to visit your premises prior to you taking out your policy and if the insurer wants to carry out a survey this will be made clear to you.

How soon will I get my policy documents?

Your policy documents will be sent out as soon as you have taken out your cover. You’ll normally receive them within two working days.

Will my premium go up if I make a claim?

Not necessarily. Each case is treated on its own merits. And on certain policies, we offer No Claims Discount (NCD) protection. This means that if you have to make a claim, your premium will not be affected.

How long is my quote valid for?

Our quotes are usually valid for 30 days.
